  • what i found in my experiences is, one who regularly workout or atleast walk few miles a day without stopping till the last moment of life, will definitely have a beautiful toned slim body. and those who walk only for few months and by seeing partial results of reduction in weight, most of them start eating junk food just because they burn calories everyday frm past few months, and suddenly they stop walking for some weather changes or to engage in some important family events. and again they will gain all the lost calories into a big fat mass. again the same story continues…

  • Just started walking 10.24 miles everyday which takes me about 2.15 hours. I hate gyms and am not the biggest fan of lifting weights, so walking it is. I also gave up white sugar, processed food, most carbs, and dairy. My diet consumes on mainly fruits, vegetables, occasionally black rice (my favorite), and a gallon of water daily. Still have 115 pounds to go, but I fully accept the challenge.

  • This was so boring. Walking does help you lose weight. I used to walk daily and I stayed in shape but lost that passion getting it back now. But I found this boring because of a voice that sounded like a machine was speaking and it was also creepy.

  • The ONLY thing you need to do to lose weight is eat 1,600 calories a day (which really isn't that difficult).

    you can run instead, and effectively influence your progress of you losing weight for the better. you save time, and you lose weight faster. You really have to be handicap for choosing to walk instead of running practice. Offcourse it also depends on your age.

  • Walking and being generally active is highly underrated and important for weight management. Even people who workout 3-5 days a week are still sedentary most of the day. Getting in 1-2hrs of daily walking on top of exercise helps a TON!

  • People starting out read walk 4 miles an hour, and most people can't walk that fast. It should say start walking as fast as you can without hurting yourself and build up your speed. They feel if they can't go that fast what's the use of trying. But just get up and move it will work after a while.
